Sixth Form Ambassadors
Being a Student Ambassador is a very prestigious role. Ambassadors are seen as role models to the younger years, are the face of and representatives of the Sixth Form, and are known for their role amongst students, staff and the community.
Our Sixth Form Student Ambassadors are an integral part of the school and play a huge role in the set up and running of key events. Ambassadors participate in activities within and outside of the school and community including; Parents Evenings, Parents Forums, Open Evenings, Year 6 transition days and school tours.
Students can apply to be a sixth form ambassador at the start of Yr12 and throughout their time at sixth form.
Sixth Form Reading Mentors
Sixth Formers who are interested, support small groups of younger pupils for an hour after school per week with their reading. This involves meeting a small number of pupils in the library once per week and listening to them read. Reading Mentors- receive support and training on how to do this. Students can apply to be reading mentors at the start of each academic year.
