Well-Being

At Thomas Paine Sixth Form it is important that you feel safe, supported and happy in sixth form and at home. We pride ourselves on the care that we give to all students and operate an open-door policy for any student who wishes to talk at any time.

We have a student Well-Being Officer as part of the Student Union and their role is to support the sixth form pastoral team in addressing and supporting students' well-being concerns through a programme of activities to support sixth form students in managing their well-being, physically, emotionally and mentally.

At the start of Yr12 students are invited to complete a Well-Being Questionnaire in order to inform the nature of the support required and to give context to the student experience.

Our Designated Safeguarding Leads, work alongside our pastoral team to liaise with external agencies and organizations to make sure that students are safe at school and at home. Students can talk to any member of the safeguarding team or Pastoral Team, should you have any concerns.
