What will I study?
There are five parts to A-Level Language and Literature. You will study:
- Remembered Places – Paris Collection
- Imagined Worlds – The Handmaid’s Tale
- Poetic Voices – Carol Ann Duffy
- Society – The Great Gatsby
- Dramatic Encounters – Othello
What can I do with A-Level English Language and Literature?
An A-Level in English is highly valued by employers and universities, as it develops creative thinkers with excellent evaluative, argumentative, and analytical skills. Entry Requirements
You will need to get a Grade 5+ in both English Language and English Literature.
