BackSport
Sport is a subject for people who like to know how the body works, how sports performers recover from training and injuries and how to coach various groups of people. After studying Sport you will have a much better understanding of how the sports industry works and the requirements of staff in the industry.
What will I study?
There are FIVE parts to Level 3 Sport. You will study:
1.Body Systems (Exam)
2.Sports Coaching (Coursework)
3.Sport Organisation and development (Exam)
4.Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation (Coursework)
5.Sports and Exercise Psychology (Coursework)
What can I do with Level 3 Sport?
People who study Sport go on to a range of courses in the future, including university degrees in Sport and exercise Science, Sports Coaching, Physiotherapy, and many others. A qualification in Sport proves that you can write well, understand complex topics, work well in a team, think about difficult questions in a logical way and Communicate effectively with a range of people.
What are the entry requirements?
If you are doing Level 2 Sport you need to get a Merit.
If you are not doing Level 2 Sport then you need to get a Grade 5+ in Science.

OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Sport and Physical Activity
