BackPhotography
Photography is a subject for creative thinkers who enjoy the challenge of communicating their ideas through photography.
What will I study?
Photography is 60% coursework and 40% exam and it all assessed through your portfolio. The four components that you are assessed on include:
- Recording information - taking high-quality photos
- Developing ideas by responding to photographers work
- Editing your ideas and practical work
- Final pieces of work.
What can I do with A-Level Photography?
People who study photography go on to a range of courses in the future. It is a gateway into the creative industries including film and media, advertising, design disciplines such as fashion, interior design, product design and architecture and of course photography.
Entry Requirements
Grade 5+ GCSE Photography.
Students who have not studied Art should discuss a portfolio of their work with Mr Kitson-Cook.
