Once again, students at Thomas Paine Sixth Form have cause for celebration as 70% of the A-Level grades they’ve received today are at A*-C.

Another fantastic year of results for the sixth form, students have gone from strength to strength through their studies. Fantastic progress has been made by students at the sixth form with 35% of grades received at A*-B.

Michael Fordham, Principal and Ina Coubrough, who in September starts as Principal of Thetford Academy and its sixth form, Thomas Paine said:

“I’m so delighted to see students celebrating another year of excellent results. We once again have students achieving suites of top grades, such as James who is off to UEA to study Computer Science having achieved A*A*A in Maths, Computer Science and Further Maths, and Jack (pictured below), who will be starting at the Royal Academy of Music with a starred distinction for Music Performance.

For the second year running, the Thomas Paine Sixth Form had a 100% pass rate with every student passing every qualification, and for those heading to university every student has a place at either their first-choice or second-choice university. Students will be leaving Thetford to study at universities across the country including King’s College London, York, Liverpool and Exeter.

We’re also very pleased that we are continuing to have students gain places on high-quality apprenticeships, with students this year starting apprenticeships in fields such as Engineering, Policing, Graphic Design and Dental Nursing.

A big well done to all students who have worked so hard this year and we wish them all the very best as they head off to a bright future.”

Students have once again shown that greatness is fostered in Thetford, and that hard work and determination bring the utmost success. Congratulations to all that received A-Level results today.
